This leak testing equipment identifies peeling, tears, and pinholes in pharmaceutical and other packaging containers, performing a container integrity test (CCIT). It can be used on a wide variety of packaging containers, including flexible packaging, bottles, and glass containers. It uses the sealed chamber method (pressure change leak test method 1).
A sample is placed in the chamber, pressurized or depressurized, and the pressure change inside the chamber is measured to perform quantitative testing. It can be used in a variety of situations, including offline and in-line manufacturing, CMC laboratories, quality control laboratories, and stability testing.
*The container being tested is referred to as the workpiece or sample. Here, we refer to specific specimens as samples, using the terms interchangeably.
